"Porsche 911"In the seventies (1970s), I was very active in the Porsche Club of America. During this time, I was dating a wonderful person who let me race his 911 Porsche practically every weekend. His birthday was in a few days, so I had planned to buy him his present right after work, stopping home first to change my clothes. As I was approaching my turn off to the left, I remembered thinking, "Well, maybe I’ll just go straight to the store, no, I’ll go home first". Just as my hands were moving the steering wheel to the left, just that fast, I said "No, I’ll buy the present first". I remember thinking how strange it was that I changed my mind so fast and commented on how it was like someone else had moved my steering wheel. At that time in my life, angels to me were only little fat babies with wings. I never realized that God, in all His Glory, sends angels to watch over us. When I arrived home, I noticed my little kitty, China was outside, then I saw my side window open and the window screen was off. I looked inside and found that my TV was missing. I ran to my neighbor’s house. My neighbor let me call the police. After the police officer checked my home out. He let me inside and we filed a report. Many items were missing and they left my house in a mess, but one item that was taken belonged to my boyfriend. It was a .22 caliber Smith and Wesson gun in its original box, with bullets. I know in my heart, that if I had not gone shopping first, but had gone home to change my clothes, I would have surprised the robbers and may have been shot and killed."rosebud" |
